Carrollwood Day School is pleased to introduce parents to Schoology, the web-based learning management system. Schoology provides a secure and safe, easy-to-use, way for teachers, students, parents, and administrators to seamlessly communicate and collaborate to enhance students’ learning and success.
Your child will access Schoology daily to manage class assignments, discussions, handouts and activities, as well as the advisory program and other clubs.
Parents will use Schoology to “shadow” student classes (view course-specific documents and activities) and access general school resources such as curriculum guides and daily announcements.
Q: I had a student who used Schoology last year and I am already signed up and linked to my student’s Schoology account. What do I need to do this year?
A: You do not need to sign up for Schoology or link to your student’s account. Please verify that you are still able to login and are correctly linked to your student’s account.
Q: I already have a Schoology account from last year as a parent and need to link a second enrolled student to my Schoology account. What do I do?
A: Login to Schoology and click the “+ Add Child” link from your User Account pull-down menu. Enter your Child Code.
Q: I have an enrolled student and have not signed up with Schoology. What do I do?
A; Please follow the steps below to create your account and link with your student’s Schoology account.
Step 1: In a web browser visit www.schoology.com
Step 2: Click on “SIGN UP”
Step 3: Are you a student, instructor or parent? Choose Parent.
Step 4: Enter your student’s Access Code.
Step 5: Enter your account details and click Register.

Congratulations, you are now registered with Schoology.
